Field Board in Virginia
This option is perfect for your retired horses, young horses or horses taking a break from training and competing. The horses live out year round at our property located near Appomattox, Virginia.
We have had great success keeping our young horses, brood mares, retired horses and resting horses at this location. There is plenty of room for them to run and more grass than they can eat. The winters are milder in southern Virginia than here in Maryland. We have had no need for blankets and there is very little snow. This is a perfect option for horses that are not currently in work.
