Lessons
Greystone Farm offers a Monthly Lesson Program. We believe that the key to happy, safe and successful riding both for the horse and rider is a consistent and dedicated riding schedule. For this reason, we ask that students commit to a course of lessons that is at least one month in length. At Greystone we run a very small-scale lesson program focussing on safety and the good care of our animals. We insist on private lessons for beginner riders and young children. Our school horses are mainly home-bred and family owned. They must be correctly handled, well cared for, and not overworked. We insist that our horses are ridden only once--rarely twice--daily with one or two days off per week.
